So there aren’t that many female rappers, I mean there are but there aren’t many that move me… my favorite female artists are Roxanne Shante, Mc Lyte and Salt-n-Peppa. Locally you got Marvaless, Ann Carter, Mina Mean, Lady Live and Tavia Jenkins. I’m sure there are more but those ring bells.
You can add another name to that list. Miss Cashley. She’s a new young artist on the scene trying to put her foot in the door. Mina Mean has called her a “Jill of all Trades” on twitter.
Who is Miss Cashley? She’s a 22 year old female from Valley Hi [south sacramento]. She has worked with artists such as Dezit Eaze and Xclusive ENT, Pigg Pen, Lil Darelle, Dubb 20, E40, J Synth, Sumthin Terrible and more. She is currently working on a album and a mixtape due out soon, so be on the look out for the albums, mixtapes and Miss Cashley.
